Plot
Xia Chusui, the eldest daughter of the Xia family, and Gu Hanye, the eldest son of the Gu family, were childhood sweethearts, innocent and destined for each other. They grew up together with Gu's adopted daughter, Liu Weiwei, as playmates. However, Liu Weiwei, who had long admired Gu Hanye, grew jealous of Xia Chusui. She conspired to lure Xia Chusui out and hired someone to run her over. Unexpectedly, the assailant misidentified the car and instead crashed into the car carrying Liu Weiwei and Gu Hanye's elderly parents, directly leading to the death of Gu's parents and severe injury to Liu Weiwei. Liu Weiwei, with the help of her father, Old Liu (the Gu family's old butler), seized the opportunity to frame Xia Chusui for the incident. Overnight, Xia Chusui became a malicious villain consumed by jealousy, and even Gu Hanye was utterly disappointed in her. To avenge Liu Weiwei and his parents, Gu Hanye began to make Xia Chusui "atone for her sins." Under Gu Hanye's torment, Xia Chusui, once the high-and-mighty young lady of the Xia family, fell to become a humble prostitute, her proud spirit utterly worn down. She vowed never to see this man again in her life. However, when the truth was revealed, Gu Hanye was filled with deep regret, sparing no effort or means, just to beg her to look at him one more time...
